This ring features a Thomsonite cabochon, set in fine and sterling silver. It has a border of silver dots that reminds me of a flower. I created the border by melting scraps of silver, hammering them flat, and soldering them to the backplate. The sterling ring band is 5mm wide and has a hammered finish. This ring is a size 8.
Thomsonite is a rare stone from Grand Marais in Minnesota.
