Sapphire Ring - Size 7.5

This ring features a rose cut rectangular sapphire in a shade of deep reddish purple. It is set in fine and sterling silver. The texture on the band was created by fusing on silver dust that I saved when I filed. This ring has been oxidized to bring out the texture. The band is 9.5mm wide. This ring is a size 7.5, but will fit about a half size smaller due to the width of the band.

The color of the stone was difficult to photograph in the light box. The final picture shows the most accurate color of the stone.
