Brazilian Agate Necklace

This necklace features a polished Brazilian agate slice that I wove into the sterling silver frame with sterling wire. This was an early piece that was inspired by the crocheted bezels that I made before I learned to silversmith. The frame is 3 inches wide and 1.5 inches tall. The sterling silver chain is 9 inches on each side, making the total length 21 inches. It is finished with a sterling lobster clasp.
