Basalt and Opal Necklace

This necklace features an Ethiopian Opal cabochon set on top of a piece of basalt that I found on the shore of Lake Superior. These stones are set in a fine and sterling silver shadow box setting. The pendant measures just over 1.5 inches, including the bail. The pendant is on a sterling silver wheat chain that is 18 inches long, including the handmade hook and eye clasp.
